The Queen’s Regimental Association have just been honoured by the presentation of the State Flag of Texas which flew over the US House of Representatives. To celebrate this they are holding a fundraising night on behalf of their Benevolent Fund at The Saracen’s Pub, Alfred Square, Deal, CT14 6LU on Texas Day, Thursday 2nd March starting at 7.00pm.
Come and enjoy a display by the Corps of Drums (well some of them anyway), music by Joshua Jack and Steve Grant, Texan buffet cooked by the lovely Emeline, see historic film footage and learn a little bit about YOUR local Regiment and why they have been presented with the flag.
All money raised will go towards helping veterans from your Regiment who have served their Country and have fallen on hard times of which there were over 100 last year.
