His funeral took place at Worcester Crematorium, Tintern Avenue, Worcester WR3 8HA on 29 February at 10.45.
The sad death is announced of Sgt Steve Lambert, ex 8 Queen's Fusiliers, Queen's Company on 31 December last.
His funeral took place at 14.30 on 27 January at Chelmsford Cemetery and Crematorium, Writtle Road, Chelmsford, CM1 3BL.
It is with great sadness that, after a short illness, the death is announced of Pte William (Bill) Porter-Bean, ex 4 BUFFS, QRS, 1 QUEENS, and Westerham Cadets where he was the Sgt PSI. His funeral will be held at the Kent and Sussex Crematorium, Benhall Road, Tonbridge Wells, TN2 5JJ on 23rd December at 1600hrs and afterwards for a drink at the Kemsing Bell Public House, TN15 6NB.Only family flowers but donations to Help the Heroes or the Kent Association for the Blind would be welcome. All those who knew Bill or wished to pay their respects was very welcome.

It is with great sadness that the death is announced of WO1 (RSM) HT (Jack) Chaffer MM on 7 December. RSM Chaffer served with the Queen's Royal Surreys, the 1st Battalion, RSM of the 5th Battalion and was also a Yeoman Warder at HM Tower of London. His funeral will take place at 1615 on 14 December at Northampton Crematorium.

It is with great sadness that the death is announced of Lt Col Simon Boucher, ex 2nd Battalion and past Commanding Officer of 5 QUEENS. Col Simon's funeral is taking place on 18 November and will be a private family affair. There was a Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm on 18 November at the Parish Church of St Nicholas, Pluckley, Kent, TN27 0QS.

His funeral will take place on the 20th November, at 10.00am at Our Lady of Gillingham RC Church, 2a Ingram Road, Gillingham,m Kent, ME7 1YL then on to Woodlands Road Cemetery, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 2DT for 11.15am.

It is with great regret that the death is announced of Pte Alan Lesley Smith, ex 4th Battalion who died on 27 October having spent the last few years being cared for at the Vanehill Specialist Care Home in Torquay
It would appear that he had no family and so the Home would be delighted if any member of the Regiment could attend the funeral which is taking place at Torquay Crematorium at 13.30 on 11 November
His coffin was draped with the Regimental flag and the Last Post was played and the Regimental Collect said.

It is with great regret that the sudden death is announced of Sergeant Roger Bobrow who sadly passed away on Wednesday 23rd of September in The Royal Stoke Hospital following a long illness. Roger served in the QOB's and then 2 Queen's from 1966 to 1978.

Sadly the death is announced of Major Christopher Parnham TD O.St.J who died on Friday 4 September. Major Parnham was OC E Company (Home Service Force) of 5 QUEENS. His funeral took place on Thursday 24 September at Ettington Church, CV37 7 SU at 1400.
The sad death is announced of CSgt Peter Parker, who joined the Queen's Own Buffs in 1965, and served with 2 QUEENS until he left the Army in 1986. During that period he carried out a tour with 5 QUEENS in Broadstairs as PSI of the Anti-Tank Platoon. His funeral was held at Thanet Crematorium, Manston Road, Margate, CT9 4LY on Tuesday 8 September at 1530.
It is with great regret that the sudden death is announced of Lt Col John Dyer, ex 3 QUEENS and PWRR. His funeral will take place at 1100hrs on 7 September at the Garrison Church of St George, Bulford followed by a wake at 1200 at the Officers' Mess, HQLF, Andover.
